Our students are rooted in Latin American culture. But what made our event special was the scope of learning about the different Spanish-speaking countries. Each country has its own customs, interpretation of religious practices as well as leaders in poetry, dance, literature, mathematics, science, distinguished chefs, politicians, and artists. Hispanic Heritage Night’s celebration of familial ancestry taught our students and guests about the rich culture of Latin America.
